A diary to help my personal weight control efforts. In other words, to keep me from blimping out.

I’m a middle-aged female who has lost 10kg recently, after a close shave with diabetes. It took a health crisis to wake me up. I was obese then. Approaching forty, reaching an acceptable weight was daunting, but with the help of supportive friends, who have taken that path before, I lost the necessary weight.

Subsequent health checks gave me a clean bill of health.

This is where I blog my efforts at weight maintenance.. and my personal thoughts about weight loss, weight gain, diet and fitness.

Ok, we are affected by our environment which in my case, is a positive one, and which helps me stay focus on sticking to a healthy and sane lifestyle.
